Our world needs more caring and concern than ever before. The commitment to give back is part of our investment in people and non-profit organizations. We look forward to expanding this work as we grow.
- Helping recent college graduates gain experience in the workplace through paid internships.
- Supporting community-based organizations that are helping better the world.
Our commitment is two-fold:
Jumpstart San Diego will fund a recent college graduate with a part time, paid position on all projects to help these talented, entry level professionals gain invaluable experience. Our clients receive this at no additional charge to them – it’s all part of our service – and it provides additional insights to impact the engagement.
If you are a recent graduate, or you know of someone who can benefit from this experience, please refer them directly to Debbie Feinberg, Principal/Owner of Jumpstart San Diego at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Jumpstart San Diego also commits to donate 2% of all billings to a local organization where improving the life of others is an integral part of their mission and where their commitment is especially strong to youth and families.
In 2020, we have identified Kitchens for Good as our initial recipient
Kitchens for Good (KFG) is a social enterprise 501(c)(3) founded on the belief that food has power and all people have potential. For the past 5 years, KFG has been preparing and distributing nutritious meals for food-insecure San Diegans. KFG equips individuals labeled “unemployable” in its culinary apprenticeship program with the culinary skills they need to launch meaningful careers, so they can move forward in life and make a positive impact on their communities. Apprentices–transitioning from incarceration, homelessness, and foster care–practice their culinary skills and give back to the community while upcycling rescued food into healthy meals for the hungry. As KFG continues working to help San Diego’s most vulnerable meet their basic food needs through the COVID-19 pandemic, your support will help meet the goal of preparing 275,000 meals over the next year.
